 Elmira Business Institute admits new students at the start of each semester. Candidates must be at least 17 years old and have completed their high school education, or received their General Equivalency Diploma (GED). All applicants must provide an official academic transcript or GED.
Before admission, admission representatives conduct personal interviews to evaluate the applicant's potentialfor the career schools at EBI.
Campus tours are given Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., -and on Saturdays by appointment. EBI campuses are located at Elmira, Chemung County, NY and Vestal, Broome County, NY.
The business and medical programs offered at EBI are complete preparation courses and do not require prior training in high school or experience for admittance. Everything from medical coding to training as an administrative assistant, are two examples of courses covered in these programs.
