The Articulation/Transfer Agreement

What is it?

An articulation/transfer agreement is an understanding between colleges that allows students who graduate from a two-year school to transfer their programs of study* to a four-year college or university.

Within the last decade, technology has changed how the world works. Elmira

Business Institute has taken steps to incorporate our curriculum with those of the articulating colleges. The result is a highly effective higher education system that incorporates your EBI degree.

The articulation/transfer agreements we have with these colleges mean an efficient and cost-effective system that avoids unnecessary duplication of effort by students in their progress toward degrees. You leave EBI with a fully accredited Associate’s Degree (through the Accrediting Council For Independent Colleges And Schools and The New York State Board of Regents), and enter another college or university prepared to complete the final two years of schooling. We give you what you need to be successful as you move forward.

The Transfer Alliance

The Transfer Alliance is a strategy intended to facilitate the transfer of credit between and among institutions whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The Transfer Alliance offers a ready source of partners who have agreed upon transfer criteria. The partners have agreed to consider accepting, in transfer, degrees and credits that were earned by students “in good standing” from other Transfer Alliance institutions.

EBI is a Transfer Alliance partner.
